The YDH I.D.E.A. Learning Pod is a Montessori-inspired program created to provide educational equity.

Our program provides students with a rich educational experience.  We utilize greenspaces  in our community to engage in outdoor learning environments. The learning pod  works collaboratively with parents and community organizations to provide  environmental education, creative and cultural arts,  urban gardening, and literacy support.  Our inclusive program serves students in grades K- 4, including those with different abilities..

It is our goal to serve as a resource to students and families faced with the challenges of navigating schooling for their children. 

We’re employing a culturally relevant Montessori-inspired approach. Under our guidance and care we ensure each child is able to explore and learn at their own pace, fostering deep and meaningful learning.
